HOMECOMING 2015 - postponed

Due to the recent floods, LMA’s Homecoming for 2015 has been postponed to the week of October 19-23.  More details to come.

The OCTOBER 3RD SAT has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 17th at Sumter High School.  Students taking the SAT will be notified via e-mail.

Updated: Tuesday, October 7th, 2015 12:00 p.m.

LMA will remain closed on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 through Monday, October 12th, 2015.

After hearing from SCDOT officials and local law enforcement, we feel that it is in the best interest of the entire LMA Family to remain closed through next Monday, October 12. We will return to school at regular time on Tuesday, October 13 just as our LMA Master Schedule dictates.

This will give our local and state officials the time necessary to make some repairs to our infrastructure, and hopefully, make our roadways as safe as possible under these unique circumstances. If it is unsafe for you to leave your home next week as we begin school again, please let us know so that we can make the necessary arrangements for your student.

(updated 12:00 pm on October 7th)

SCISA met this morning at 11:00am to discuss scheduled games for this Friday night. The association determined that either the season will be extended by one week or accommodations will be made to the playoff system. Therefore, we will not be playing Friday night, October 9th.

As more information becomes available about rescheduling or cancellations, we will let you know.

HOMECOMING 2015 - Homecoming will be postponed until October 23rd, 2015. All homecoming activities and traditions will occur during the week leading up to the game against Porter Gaud.October 9th

We join you in continued prayer for our families, community, and state as we all continue to recover from this terrible time in our state’s history.
