is available at 1-800-800-2775, option 3. (i.e. connecting WiFi, printing, iPad problems, general use)

Every student will receive a school issued and managed 9th or 10th Generation iPad.   We ask that every student have some type of ePencil / Stylus / Apple Pencil (1st Generation) for use in class and for assignments. Compatible options for your consideration are available below.  Please ensure that the device you choose is compatible with iPad 7th or 8th Generation.

The Logitech Crayon is a highly rated device for students in elementary.   If using a digital/rechargeable ePencil -- make sure that it has "palm rejection" and no glove is needed.  Simple rubber tipped stylus may be used but are NOT recommended.  Don't forget to label your ePencil with your name for easy identification.

Amazon is not the only retailer and below are examples of what you can look for in purchasing an ePencil for use.

One of the objectives of LMA is to prepare our students for success in college and beyond by producing independent, life-long learners. To achieve this goal, LMA believes that it is essential to provide digital access for all students. This access facilitates the collaboration, teamwork and interdisciplinary learning that is so critical to academic and professional success, particularly within the Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise Platform.

Students must use the school-issued iPads.  A primary motivation for LMA’s 1:1 program is equity. By providing identical devices to each student, LMA ensures equal access to technology for all students.

In addition to the obvious individual productivity advantages, the program is designed to provide enhanced communication and collaboration opportunities through AppleClassroom Management and Microsoft Teams. In order to maximize their effectiveness, it is crucial that all students and teachers have the same hardware and software, and our software license agreements do not permit us to install all software and eBooks on student-owned devices. Standardizing the technology also allows our Teachers and IT staff to more effectively and efficiently troubleshoot problems, helping to manage time and control associated costs.

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS:

The parent will be liable for a replacement fee based on the cost to replace the iPad, case, chargers - if the iPad is not returned, including if lost or stolen. NO SCHOOL RECORDS will be released without return or full-payment. The fee if lost or stolen is $600. The iPad may be serviced ONLY by APPLECARE for any repair issues. iPad problems should be reported to the Teacher/Office/Tech Department immediately. iPad repair cost is $50. Screen breakage may be limited if repeatedly broken. Chargers that are not returned with cable in good condition at the end of the year, will be charged the current Apple Price for USB-C/Lighting Charger/Cables (approx $50).
